Gentle Yoga: The Saturday Reset

Time: Saturdays 9:30 AM (weekly)
Location: Yoga By The Lake (Lake Huntington) or Online via Zoom

Start your weekend with serenity in our Gentle Yoga class, designed to awaken your body and calm your mind. Each week features a unique theme — such as kindness, balance, or letting go — which guides both our gentle movement and the journaling prompt that follows. Together, we’ll explore these themes at a pace that honors each participant’s needs, encouraging presence, personal reflection, and connection.

✨ Each class also includes a short guided journaling practice for quiet reflection, with a complementary journal for new participants. Afterward, the Zoom room will remain open for anyone who would like to stay and share — creating a sense of community and connection beyond the mat.

🌿 For in-person participants: we’ll close with tea and homemade baked goods during the fall, winter, and spring seasons — a cozy way to end class together.

🍂 Monday, September 15th Workshop: The Art of Letting Go (Full)

Time: 4:30pm
Location: Yoga by the Lake, Lake Huntington, NY
As the season begins to shift and the light softens, September offers a quiet invitation: What are you ready to release?
In yoga philosophy, Aparigraha—non-attachment—is the gentle art of letting go. This workshop is your space to breathe, soften, and reconnect with your inner calm.

You’ll be guided through a thoughtful and creative experience that includes:
🌿 A grounding yoga practice to help you release tension and settle into presence
🎨 A meaningful art keepsake project to express and honor what you're ready to let go of
📓 A complimentary journal for all new participants—your space for reflection, intention, and self-love
🍪 And a handmade treat to close our time together with sweetness and care

This is a soul-nourishing space to step out of the busy, come back to yourself, and move gently toward what’s next.

No yoga or art experience needed. Come as you are—with your breath, your heart, and your willingness to begin again.

Let go. Make space. Trust the turning.

Suggested donation: $20 (or use your seasonal pass)

🌑 Wednesday October 15th Workshop: Shadow & Light – The Lantern Within

Time: 4:30 PM
Location: Yoga by the Lake, Lake Huntington, NY
Exchange: $20 suggested or use your class card

As the days grow shorter and the veil of autumn begins to settle, October invites us to honor the whole of who we are—our brightness and our shadow, our clarity and our questions.

In the yogic tradition, we often speak of Chitta Vritti—the fluctuations of the mind—and the practice of seeing clearly through both light and shadow. This workshop offers space to meet yourself in that in-between place, with compassion and curiosity.

You’ll be guided through a soulful experience that includes:
🌿 A grounding yoga and breathwork practice to settle the body and mind
🌑 A creative ritual art project: Shadow Lanterns – craft your own symbolic lantern to represent the parts of yourself you’re learning to see, love, and integrate
📓 A complimentary journal for all new participants
🍫 A handmade seasonal treat to sweeten the closing of our time together

No yoga or art experience is necessary—just bring your whole self, as you are, and step into the soft glow of awareness.

When we honor our shadow, we make room for deeper light.
Come home to yourself this season—whole, honest, and illuminated.

Suggested donation: $20 (or use your seasonal pass)
RSVP: jodisibilia@gmail.com
