While working in El Salvador this series is a tribute to the cultural similarities between all of us. The striking differences seem to pale in comparison to the heart of every being around the world. The intention to do good, smile at a baby, teach a child, and be kind to a stranger echos with greater resonance than that of our color, creed, or gender.
These works are but a simple snapshot into a life that complements yet doesn’t define us, a modern take on evolving consciousness. I enjoy coming home and sharing works like these with my students.
