The spiritual Lake Atitlan; once an active volcano now a ancient religious village ruins sit in the rain water filling the crater. People swarm from all over the world to take part in religious and spiritual practices on the shores fo the lake. The calm waters are deceiving, many Guatemalans in the area suffer with great poverty, the wild life is dying, the water levels rising, and pollution has become the culprit. This series demonstrates the tranquil beauty of a place before it’s spoilt by the footprint of greedy expansion and domination of nature.
